Lane Global are a UK based employment agency placing electrical and mechanical building service workers to the UK building services and construction industry. Workers work via Lane Global Ltd on a temporary or contract basis.
Lane Global do not charge you a fee to find you work in the UK. This is a free service to you.
Our clients include the biggest mechanical and electrical building services companies in the UK and Europe.
The projects these clients are on include new build prestigious projects such as Multi-Office Buildings, New Stadiums, Superstores, Public Buildings, Hospitals, Hotels, Various Data centres and Banks. Projects may also include major renovations for the same type of buildings. The value of the Mechanical and Electrical packages can range from £1m to £100m.
With the ongoing preparation for the Olympics and the supporting infrastructure, the need for a motivated workforce from outside the declining UK workforce is a necessity in order that can be delivered on time, in budget and to a high standard.

Lane Global work strictly within the UK temporary/contract market and have formed stringent criteria in the recruitment of workers.
How can Lane Global help me work within the UK?
Lane Global will find work for you within your given trade/skills or qualifications.
We will help/assist with the following;
• Accommodation
• Workers Registration Scheme (legal requirement)
• Health & Safety test (site/legal requirement)
• Travel – pick up from airport and taken to accommodation location
• Bank accounts – payment of monies

Workers Registration Scheme – What is this?
European Community Law gives the European National the right to live and work within the UK. However, they must register under the Worker Registration Scheme within the 1st month of work. They must only register once they have started work. Assistance with this form will be given by Lane Global.
The cost of this registration is £90 one off fee and once the worker has completed 12 months work with no more than 30 days break, there is no longer a need to register.
Accommodation
The accommodation is in the form of studios/flats similar to student university halls where there is a room with beds and shared kitchen/bathroom facilities can be found within London and within most major cities within the UK. They are very clean, tidy and hospitable accommodation to acquire. Rent is £80 per week.

Please consider the costs required to be paid in order that you would become eligible to work legally within the UK construction industry before completing the application form.
Lane Global will of course assist you in meeting some of these costs by spreading the repayments over a number of weeks.
