Overview
The CMS Administrator is required to work within a team of engineers carrying out administration of the iTRACS database at client sites.

Role and Responsibilities
Dedicated single point of contact for the iTRACS administration.
Ensuring that the iTRACS solution becomes a fully integrated planning and management tool delivering a more efficient and enhanced level of MAC service to the bank.
Managing the floor plans, ensuring that the GOP to desk relationship is maintained.
Maintaining and adding when necessary new infrastructure connectivity data, panels, GOP’s, desks and outlets.
Undertaking localised, regular perpetual audits to verify the accuracy of the connectivity data.
Point of contact for any iTRACS related maintenance issues or queries.
Attending the weekly move matrix meetings.
Following the move weekend the administrator would be responsible for producing a report summarizing all of the previous week’s activity.
Managing any connectivity not being tracked and monitored by iTRACS. This will require updating the database manually and liaising with other departments that undertake any connectivity changes.
Configuring, tracking and maintaining any alarms and events generated from the system.
Production of user defined weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
To inform the Campus & Operations Manager  of any Infrastructure Support updates on a daily and weekly basis
·         A clear understanding of all types of Copper Voice and Data terminations as required by the portfolio of cabling systems

·         Audit and document existing cabling installations

·         Compile patching schedules as required

·         Carry out all works under current Health & Safety procedures conforming the clients H&S Policies.

·         Ensure all works comply with Client and Manufacturers quality standards.

·         Conform to Support / Managed Services processes at all times


RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

Essential
1 Years experience of installing and terminating voice and date cables
2 Years experience of a Support Environment
Good experience of Work Flow Process software
Familiar with Asset Management Software / Tools 
Familiar with Ticketing Delivery Applications
Preferred but not Essential
Experience in connecting and initialising IT Hardware.  
Experience of administrating an iTRACS Database
